Letter from the Chairman
Better buildings start with strong foundations
What makes a building better? Better materials, better technology, better design – all of these matter. But before any of that comes something even more important: the people who build it and the care they put into their work.
I have been part of Hager for more than two decades and have seen our company evolve through many transitions. Today, the decarbonisation and electrification of buildings is transforming our industry at unprecedented speed. The current answers to these challenges may be different to those of decades ago, but our guidelines remain the same: build well, think long term, and stay true to our values.
2025 was a year that reinforced this conviction.
This year, Hager returned to blue – the colour most closely associated with our identity. For me, this is more than a design choice. It reflects clarity, confidence, and a company that knows what it stands for.
As for the future,
your task is not
to foresee it,
but to enable it.
That same spirit was recognised externally as well. In 2025, Hager achieved the EcoVadis Platinum rating for the second consecutive year, placing us among the top 1% of companies worldwide for sustainability performance. This recognition belongs above all to our employees, whose commitment and integrity bring our values to life every day.
Buildings shape the future for generations. That is why the values that have shaped us – courage, authenticity, and integrity – matter more than ever.
Better buildings. Better tomorrows. For our family, these words are not a slogan – they are a promise we renew with every generation.
With sincere thanks to our employees, customers, and partners around the world.
Daniel Hager
